First thing that you need to know about me is that I love and adore my husband, I love fashion, I love makeup, I am crazy entrepreneur and I truly love my life! I’ve been wanting to write a blog, produce amazing videos for my fellow lovers of makeup and fashion. But in April 2018 my life turned upside down and I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. I was in the middle of launching multiple projects including Anne Josette, had speaking engagements on my calendar until November and my podcast Find Your Tribe was also booked out until the end of the year.

But NOTHING will stop me!

I experienced my own struggles growing up as a very poor urban Native American girl in a world that did not fit with my dreams and ideas. I was brought up with a nonexistent alcoholic father and a drug addicted mother. I knew that if I did not get an education and make my own path that I could end up in a similar situation as my parents. So I pushed forward and started my first company at the age of 25.

My imagination does not stop. 

I have always loved working and being part of my industry’s community but not until I hit my 40’s did I realize that I could create a career in the industry that I truly loved, the beauty industry. When I owned my marketing agency I was part of the food and fashion industries but I never thought I could be the face of a brand. Honestly, I have always been anywhere between a size 10 to 16, I am 5’ and I had very low self-esteem. But when I dived into the world of YouTube and Instagram I could not find any influencers that really got me. And that is how Anne Josette was born...
